Some good news to report as we decided to create a short film about analog recording (The Analog Revival) to make festival deadlines in June. We are hoping to utilize this short to increase the interest at our crowdfund on Go Fund Me and with potential sponsors, so we can finish the 45 to 60 minute documentary.

It’s in post right now and should be ready to go by mid June – cross your fingers!. We’ll keep you posted as to the status of this and what happens with the festival notifications as they let us know if we got in or not.

On another note…

Most of the principal photography for the 45 to 60 minute doc is completed. 11 different days capturing stories at different studios and with people. We will have to reshoot at least one segment since the studio we shot has since closed its doors for the foreseeable future. :-((. This is really a big bummer as the facility has a large control room and the owner/engineer story is solid.

We’ll be on the look out for another story or two to fill in once we find the funding for post production. It’s been an interesting journey and as we move forward we continue to uncover more and more stories and are making connections with such great people.

As we continue to work towards funding post production for the longer form doc film and book The Road to Record, we are still looking for sponsors to help offset the costs. This is in addition to the crowdfund that is live and up and running.

Thank you for all your support and encourage during this journey. Please be on the lookout for the short film about analog recording (The Analog Revival) sometime in June. As always, if you have any questions, comments, thoughts or story ideas, feel free to give us a ring at the studio (509) 590-0629 or email Dave via the form on the site here.
